Job Description

A Global Business Development Head for an IT company requires a leader to develop and execute global growth strategies, identify international market opportunities, build high-level partnerships, and drive revenue growth. The role demands exceptional strategic thinking, deep IT market knowledge (especially cloud, AI, and digital transformation), strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead diverse, high-performing global teams. Key responsibilities include market research, managing complex deals, collaborating with internal teams for market entry, representing the company at global events, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Global Strategy & Market Expansion: Develop and implement long-term strategies to expand the company's global footprint, penetrate new markets, and identify new business opportunities. Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish high-impact partnerships with technology providers, channel partners, and other strategic alliances. Revenue & Growth: Drive revenue growth through new sales opportunities, strategic partnerships, and innovative go-to-market strategies. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoring to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership. Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to integrate innovative technologies, leverage AI for market analysis, and champion digital transformation to enhance competitiveness. Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key international clients, partners, and stakeholders. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and grow a diverse, high-performing global business development team. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, marketing) to ensure successful market entry, product adoption, and customer satisfaction. Required Skills & Qualifications Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership in business development, driving significant revenue growth and managing complex global strategies. Negotiation & Sales: Exceptional negotiation skills and experience managing high-level client and partnership deals. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to synthesize data, perform market research, and identify actionable insights.

Qualification
IT Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the IT landscape, including cloud services (PaaS, IaaS), software, services, AI, and digital transformation initiatives. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute innovative and future-ready business strategies. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively build relationships and represent the company. International Experience: Experience leading business development in different regions, particularly emerging markets and with multinational corporations.

Revenue growth and market share expansion in new and existing global markets. Successful identification and closure of new, high-value partnerships and deals.
